In situ experiment design and execution

The SMCOY staff designed, executed and reported the Posiva’s Olkiluoto Spalling Experiment (POSE) in Olkiluoto from 2009 to 2015. The unique experiment was conducted to establish the in situ rock mass strength of the spent nuclear fuel disposal site.
